LeavePlan ("we", "our", "us") is a free leave-optimization tool. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use https://leavetripplanner.com ("the Service"), how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

Information you provide

The planner asks you to choose a country and enter the number of annual leave days you have available. This information is processed entirely in your browser and on our servers solely to compute your optimized leave plan. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personally identifying information.

Share links

If you use the "Share" feature, your planner inputs (country, leave days, year, and date preferences) are encoded into a URL token. Anyone with that link can view the resulting plan. No data from shared links is stored on our servers beyond what is encoded in the URL itself.

Usage data

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may automatically collect standard server-log data such as your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used only for security monitoring and aggregate analytics, and is not linked to any individual.

• To compute and display your optimized leave plan.
• To generate shareable plan links when you request them.
• To monitor and improve the performance, security, and reliability of the Service.
• To understand aggregate usage patterns (e.g., which countries are most popular) — always in anonymous, aggregated form.

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. The Service may store your last-used planner inputs in your browser's session or local storage solely for convenience (so your settings persist within the same session). This data never leaves your device.

The Service is hosted on infrastructure provided by third-party cloud and edge-network providers (such as Vercel). These providers may process server-log data as part of operating the infrastructure. Their own privacy policies govern how they handle that data.

Travel destination links in the planner may direct you to third-party booking sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. We recommend reading their privacy policies before providing any personal information.

Because we do not create user accounts or store planner inputs on our servers, there is no personal data for us to retain or delete. Server-log data is retained for up to 30 days for security purposes and then deleted.

The Service is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, or delete it.
